THE RUNDOWN.

death and succumbing to fate are primary motifs of thana's character; in many verses, their mother, who was a light of kindness in their life, passes away due to unfortunate circumstances, often to protect them, and the guilt of this weighs so heavily on their mind that they tend towards self-destruction. they believe this to be their fate: doomed to sadness and loss, because they have no support system besides an older sister who blames them for their mother's death.thana is also, typically, a betrayal character—whether it's loneliness, a realization of what they really are, or a need to distance themself from what they feel is too good to be true, thana will end up betraying one side for another.
